To mark this week's fantastic Presteigne Music Festival   Aardvark are stocking DVD's of classic movies - many of them in the BFI film series - and over 400 CDs of classical music from Arvo Part to Beethoven, from Haydn to Shostakovich.

Day two of the history weekend17th August 2014

After a very busy day yesterday in the history weekend, today we have more events with talks and practical archery demonstrations. This weekend has been quite a contrast with our guest lecturers Peter Burden and Professor Charles Watkins talking about  beauty, the sublime and the picturesque, whilst next to them discussions were had on the practicalities of fighting through the ages.
