Winter Event - Bill Sewell, Jobs at Aardvark18th November 2017

This morning we are getting ready for our Winter Event ( the official start of our Christmas selling season), and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Bill Sewell who is going to be talking about his fantastic restaurant cafés in Hereford and Cambridge and offering some delicious samples. Later on we have Trevor Davies with his guitar/vibes trio. What a treat on a dull overcast day.

Winter Event, False Lights Review, Aardvark in 201811th November 2017

With a week to go before next week's 'Winter Event' we are very much looking forward to welcoming Bill Sewell, the supremo at Hereford's All Saints Café as well as Trevor Davies and his wonderful Vibes/Guitar trio (as ever featuring Dayne on bass). Trevor has been a stalwart at Aardvark over the years and his music is never less than enthralling. Bill will be visiting us in the morning, and Trevor will be starting a little later than usual at 12 noon.

Employment at Aardvark Books4th November 2017

At the end of October we were very sorry to say goodbye to Petra who has been with us for a year and who has done stalwart work for us and rapidly became extremely popular amongst our regulars and indeed customers in general. We are therefore looking for some temporary help in the café for the next two months, before appointing a new part-time café person in the New Year.
