First published in 1656 after Spelman's death in 1641. 8vo. this copy has the armorial frontispiece and all prelim pages; hinges are showing signs of cracking but are still functional, wear to right edge of front and back boards, missing titles from spine; binding probably dates to 18thcentury rather than 17thcentury and there is an italic previous owner signature from ffep dated 1745
