The Aardvark August Bank Holiday Car Boot!
The popular Aardvark August Bank Holiday Vide Grenier(Empty Your Attic) Sale returns Monday 26th August, 9am-2pm. Pitches on our car park and the field by the bookshop. There will be live music and hot and cold cafe refreshments. Free entry and free parking, all welcome!
On Monday 26th August from 9am - 3pm, Aardvark Books is delighted to welcome you to our annual August Bank Holiday Car Boot! This one is the Vide Grenier (Empty Your Attic) event...visitors to our Car Boot events often comment on the relaxed vibe and fantastic music; come along and bring your friends and family for a relaxed, sociable, fun day out!
Pitches outside on the car park and field, bring your own weather protection - or pray for sunshine!
For those of you who know the Vide Greniers of old, or even the Food Fairs, we aim to create an enjoyable day out, with live music by Red Madog and refreshments which will include tea, coffee and the inevitable bacon rolls!
The bookshop and café will be open from 10am-4pm, so after you've browsed the car boot you can come in for books, and coffee, tea and cake, inside or out.
Interested in taking a pitch? Call us 01547 530744, or call in, Tuesday - Sunday 10am-4pm to book. The charge is £12 per single pitch, plus £3 ifyou need to hire a table.
