Sumner was an English painter, illustrator and craftsman who was closely involved with the Arts and Crafts movement. In the original hardback binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with shelf wear to the edges. The spine is uncracked and the binding strong. Boards are slightly darkened. slight loss to top of boards on spine; firmly bound. Pages remarkably free of age-tones or foxing.
