For more than 30 years, Portuguese artist Juliao Sarmento has been at the forefront of contemporary art. Often dealing with the complex issue of interpersonal relationships, he has developed a multi-media visual style and language that combines film, video, sound, painting, sculpture and installations. These two volumes form an in-progress showcase of Sarmento's of works, which have been exhibited in galleries across the globe - including New York, Berlin, Dublin, Lisbon, and Tokyo.
