New Year Resolutions 231st December 2017

After a busy Saturday I am setting out this morning to pick online orders before customers start to arrive. My last New Year resolution therefore is not to see the work we do here as a task, or a chore or a problem. I confess the Aardvarks have been feeling a bit battered lately. December has not been an entirely stress free month and for once I will not be sorry to see it depart and be replaced by the normally reviled January. It all started with the snow.

Christmas Fair cancelled, Christmas opening etc16th December 2017

For the first time in our nearly 14 year history we were forced to cancel an event last Sunday due to the adverse weather conditions. Driving was almost impossible but we did eventually make it up here so that we could talk to stallholders and customers who called.

Christmas Fair, Aardvark Christmas opening, 2017 Thanks9th December 2017

At the time of writing we are still planning to go ahead with the Christmas fair tomorrow, but it will be reduced due to cancellations from stallholders who are simply unable to get here. If conditions locally are too bad to allow for any travel we will obviously have to cancel, so watch our social media.
