As ever a wonderful episode of CD review this morning, including Barbara Strozzi as the subject of 'Building a Library'. The latter can be found on Iplayer and is well worth listening to - or listening to again.

Meanwhile I should this weekend finish putting into stock the final tranch of books from the Frankfurt Bookfair. It has taken me so long purely because of the amount that we bought. Some absolutely wonderful illustrated books, from a wide range of publishers - some of them unfamiliar. Together they have certainly made the shop look even better than usual, something that has not gone unremarked by customers.

Meanwhile we are just finalising plans for the Chrismas Fair on the 11th December. With 25 stalls and quite a long reserve list, there should truly be something for everyone.
