Thanks for the Christmas Fair, Poetry Breakfast, 201915th December 2018

Many thanks to all our customers who came to Aardvark last Sunday for the Christmas Fair. After a relatively slow start it rapidly became one of our busiest events of the year, and my sincere apologies to any-one who had to wait either to pay at the desk or in the café. We do our best to process transactions quickly, but sometimes it does take a little time. Thank you to to the young team who ran the café with Eleanor and Sarah. They were all simply fantastic. Finally many thanks to Dutch Lewis and his trio. What a treat to have such experienced and talented musicians playing at Aardvark.

Where does the time go?8th December 2018

I have been accused of being an erratic blogger by my fellow aardvarks and although I have demurred, I realise when looking at the list of blogs that some 6 weeks have gone by since my last missive. I could plead pressure of work and life - but when has it ever been thus. Perhaps the truth is that I have not had quite so much to say. Time spent listening is never wasted.
