On my own in the shop and café today because Edward Aardvark is down in Narberth for the Food Fair selling books. Today he is doing a book signing with Elizabeth Luard - famed cookery writer and memoirist. Quite a lot of people through the shop - partly because this is the last day of the brilliant Midlands Textile Forum exhibition. Having had a whole month of wonderful textiles, the shop will seem a bit quieter when this one ends.

Fantastic texile show from Midlands Textile Forum17th September 2013

After the great success of our h.Art textiles show - over 1,000 people saw the show over its two weeks - it suddenly seemed a risk to have scheduled another textiles show immediately after. Hanging day yesterday made me realise how foolish such fears had been. This show is a knock out. So many stand out pieces.
