Busy bank holiday weekend

Busy bank holiday weekend

We had a very busy bank holiday weekend with lots of holiday makers and visitors to Presteigne Festival coming into the shop. Very ecletic range of sales and unusual requests ( not many complaints normally about our lack of a section of books on Schubert).

 

Monday saw a very successful Vide Grenier/Flea Market with lots of stalls and live music from Aardvark veterans Little Rumba. Pete and the band were in particularly good form, and played a lively set to a large and appreciative audience. A few no shows on the stalls, but still lots of carrier bags of loot disappearing to the car park.

 

Busy again yesterday and this morning, so looks like we will have had a pretty good summer over all.
