Sunny Easter Monday; crazy Easter Saturday
Sunny Easter Monday; crazy Easter Saturday
Today the sun cut through the haze by about 10am, and since then the bookshop has been bathed in sunshine. Outside on the benches which we dedicated to Edward's memory, families and couples have been sitting and enjoying some of Catherine's cake and tea.
Many thanks to Kim Hurst, Claire Austin and Noel Kingsbury, who made Saturday such a special day. Helped by some reasonable weather we had the busiest Easter event ever, and the lectures were filled to capacity. All together a fantastic day.
Aardvark are now open everyday until Christmas, so there are plenty of opportunities to come in to see us. Next event will be 'The Past is Ourselves: Masterpiece Maps from Wales and the Marches' , which opens on the 2nd of May. Check the website for details.
