The sieges of Brampton Bryan in 1643 and 1644 were re-enacted with cannon, musket and pike actions on both Saturday and Sunday, with a most moving procession to the church on Sunday morning to listen to a Laudian sermon and lay a wreath for all those who died during the sieges on the tomb of Brilliana Harley in St Barnabas, Brampton Bryan.
The weather was kind to us, and everyone was in very good humour throughout!
