H.art carries on for two weeks
Whilst the rest of the H.Art exhibitions are busy being taken down, Aardvark's double exhibition is still going until the 28th of September! This morning we had a good group of visitors and made a sale of one of the textile panels.
Elsewhere in the shop we were busy putting things away after the Ludlow Food Fair. On this year's stand we were celebrating 25 year's of Mick Inkpen's wonderful Kipper books. Above is Kipper making friends with local celebrity John Challis, who as ever was a fantastic sport and signed lots of copies of his books on our stand.
The only down side of what was generally a great weekend, was that we were not able to do the book signing for Tim Anderson's new book 'Nanban'. Due to technical difficulties this has been withdrawn and will now be published in the Spring.
After a very busy start to September, we are expecting a couple of slightly quieter weeks when we can do a bit of administration and finish listing the large pile of books that have been building up over the summer. October will be on us in no time, and with it the Frankfurt Bookfair when we will again be buying our usual large quantity of books to bring back to the Bookery, ready for Christmas!
