Non-stop Aardvark craziness
Even by our standards we have been working non-stop over the last week or so. Lots of customers, plus a couple of members of staff out for the week, equalled a really strong effort from the rest of the team. Yesterday I was out for a family event, and my sister took on the bookshop reins for the day. Needless to say she was over run, and many thanks to Elliot, Di and Paul ( who I called when he was in the midst of something and who sped in to help out ), for their not inconsiderable help.
Today is set up for tomorrow's Brocante and Sarah is working hard on making sure that all the stalls can fit in, whilst Rowan is working like lightening in the café. We have a record number of stalls for tomorrow, so please drop in to see us if you have the time. The Aardvark Brocante's are always an occasion, and this one should be no exception.
Then after tomorrow it will be full speed ahead for the Shropshire Hills Art Week that starts on Saturday. We have 15 artists in the group show this year and I can't wait to see the display. The Private View starts at 11am on Saturday the 30th of May.
